What is Future Transport?

In 2017 alone, 3881 people were killed or seriously injured in road traffic collisions across Greater London. Over a third of these were pedestrians. At this rate of over 10 people per day, clearly there is room for improvement. There is also growing concern over air quality and emissions from our powered vehicles, which can have long-term health impacts. Finally, the average car speed in London is reportedly just 7.4 mph. What is are solutions that can address all these issues simultaneously, to get London moving safely and efficiently? Future Transport aims to gather information on how people move around today and propose solutions for the future of urban transportation.
